Today's teaser comes from the sequel to Peter and the Starcatchers, Peter and the Shadow Thieves. It is a very interesting twist on the Peter Pan stories! According to the publisher, it is great for ages 10 and up. I read Peter and the Starcatchers to a group of students a few years ago so when I saw this, I had to read more of the story! These teaser sentences come from page 178 (of 556):" 'We can't fly away,' he whispered. 'People don't fly in London.' "

I'm going to read Peter and the Starcatchers this year. I found it among the books that my 15 year old was going to donate to Goodwill. I borrowed several of the books from the pile. They'll still make it to Goodwill, but not until after I read them. ;)
